Gene Bataille, Secretary

batailleGene Bataille is the former Director of Athletic Relations for the Rutgers University Department of Athletics. Gene served in that position for the university’s football team since 2007 mentoring Rutgers Football athletes in general life skills and providing guidance for their personal development. He supervised and worked with local and away police departments regarding advanced security for all football events. Gene was also the NFL liaison, organizing annual NFL Pro Day where players are showcased for visiting NFL team scouts.  Gene also served as a guest speaker / instructor for various Rutgers classes.

Gene served for over 25 years as a Police Officer in the roles of Patrolman and Detective for four New Jersey Law Enforcement Agencies in the Middlesex County area. During this time he served in the Major Crimes/Homicide Unit, Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (temporary assignment with the F.B.I.) and gained significant experience in the areas of collection and preservation of evidence, investigative techniques, forensic photography, arson/crime scene investigation, homicide/death investigation, and fundamental and advanced usage of equipment such as latent fingerprinting equipment. Gene retired from the South Plainfield (NJ) Police Department in 2007.
Gene is a certified G.R.E.A.T. Instructor and a member if the G.R.E.A.T. National Training Team.

Gene also serves as a consultant for various police academies throughout the State of New Jersey as well as other private and police agencies, including the FBI, throughout the U.S.

Gene attended Glassboro State College, Glassboro, NJ.

In his spare time Gene enjoys riding his Harley, boating and spending time with his family, Joann and children, Jason his wife Jackie, Tommy, Jimmy, Jeffrey and Meghan.
